Flowery Meadow
Core Idea: A flower meadow gives a gentle emotional calm.
Effect: Softens intense emotions for one beast or five feet radius. Helps beasts stop charging; helps people think, rest, or negotiate.
Shard: Táyu Shard
Instrument: Pávo (Ocarina)
Emotion Requirement: Steady compassion and patience.
Side / Miscast Effects:
Harsh melody → target feels numb, emotionally colorless.
Stormy Wáni → emotional whiplash at the end (headache, tears).
Deep trauma → only a thin layer of calm.
Manifestation:
The bracelet glows silver, having tranquil flowers fly out toward the target. The flowers unfold into a calming meadow underneath the target. They will become stuck inside and have the sound feel slightly muffled.
Ritual & Melody: Slow, repeating melody like breathing; Wáni exhales on long notes.
Duration: Up to 30 minutes, sustained by the Wáni.
Casting Time: 10–20 seconds.
Range: 10 feet; line of sight best.
Limits / Taboos: Misusing it to silence rightful grief/anger is strongly condemned.
Nalvéra – Gentle Unknot
Core Idea: Loosen tangled thoughts and ease panic into clarity.
Effect:
Softly untangles racing thoughts, panic, or obsessive loops in one target (kin or beast). Clears mental “noise” so the target can think or rest. Does not erase memory; it simply loosens the emotional grip.
Shard: Lúri shard
Instrument: Pávo (ocarina)
Emotion Requirement: Quiet empathy and a sincere wish to understand, not to control. If the Wáni feels impatient or judgmental, the spell becomes harsh.
Side / Miscast Effects:
If cast with impatience → the target may feel exposed, raw, or ashamed once their thoughts are opened.
Overuse on the same target → mild dependence; they may struggle to selfsoothe without the melody.
If the Wáni pushes too deep → brief dizziness or disorientation for both Wáni and target.
Manifestation:
The bracelet glows with a soft lavender light. A thin, threadlike ribbon unspools, drifting toward the target’s head and chest. As the melody continues, the ribbon splits into many fine strands that hover like glowing, translucent threads around the target’s temples and heart. These threads gently unwind, curling away small knots of dim light that evaporate into the air. The target’s breathing slows; their shoulders loosen.
Ritual & Melody:
A slow, circling melody in a minor mode that gradually brightens toward a gentle major cadence. The Wáni’s own breathing is matched to the rise and fall of the tune. Often, the Wáni raises their free hand, palm outward, as if smoothing the air around the target’s head.
Duration: 10–20 minutes of softened anxiety or mental clarity, depending on how tangled the mind was.
Casting Time: 20–30 seconds.
Range: About 5–10 feet; eye contact or clear awareness of the target is best.
Limits / Taboos:
Cannot erase trauma, only ease its immediate surge.
Using Nalvéra to force confession or compliance is considered a serious violation of the Oath.
