Luminous Beacon
Core Idea: Light source that also reacts to emotional and physical disturbances.
Effect: Creates a hovering orb of light. Orb flickers, shifts color, or ripples when it senses movement or emotional tension nearby.

Emotion Requirement:Clear minded curiosity, without heavy bias.
Side / Miscast Effects:
Flickering or color shifting falsely when emotion is unstable.
Too bright, causing discomfort to nearby eyes.
Manifestation: The bracelet brightens to a yellow having a curious, light ribbon of light come out. The ribbon coils tighter and condenses into a hovering orb. The orb has a surface rippling gently like liquid glass. It senses movement or tension faint threads of color flicker across the orb’s surface.
Ritual & Melody: Ascending arpeggios repeated like a question;
Duration: Up to 1 hour, or until dismissed.
Casting Time: 5–15 seconds.
Range: Orb stays within 10 feet of the Wáni; illuminates a 30 foot radius.
Limits: Less sensitive in full daylight.
Veiled Echo
Core Idea: Hear the emotional “echo” of a place or object.
Effect:
Allows the Wáni to sense lingering emotional impressions on a location or item. The location or item has about a fifteen feet area. Wáni perceives these impressions as faint harmonies, colors, or images in their mind. The impressions give hints about what kind of events or feelings recently occurred there.

Instrument: Pávo (ocarina)
Emotion Requirement: Calm curiosity and willingness to witness truth, even if painful. If the Wáni resists what they might learn, the reading distorts.
Side / Miscast Effects:
If the Wáni is biased or fearful → they may “hear” their own expectations instead of true echoes.
Very intense past events → can overwhelm the Wáni with a brief flash of secondhand emotion (fear, grief, rage).
Prolonged use in many places → emotional fatigue, mild numbness.
Manifestation:
The bracelet shimmers with an opalescent glow. A thin ribbon of light unfurls and sinks partway into the ground, wall, or object. It pulses softly, sending out circular ripples of color that only the Wáni can see. As the melody continues, faint silhouettes, colors, or emotional chords rise from the surface like steam. These impressions drift around the Wáni for a moment then fade.
Impressions emotionally:
Coral – Joy / Happiness, Azure – Sorrow / Sadness, Plum – Anger / Rage spells, Slate – Fear / Terror, Lavender – Love / Affection
Ritual & Melody:
A soft, descending phrase repeated each time ending on a slightly different note. The Wáni often kneels or places a hand on the surface they’re reading, closing their eyes to focus.
Duration: The reading itself takes 30–60 seconds; the impressions linger in the Wáni’s memory like a dream for several hours.
Casting Time: 30–45 seconds.
Range: A focused area within about 15 feet; best when the Wáni is physically touching the place or object.
Limits:
Only recent, strong emotions within a few days are clear. Can’t distinguish precise words or faces only the emotional tones and vague shapes. Strong magical interference or wards can “mute” or distort the echoes.
