What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Hello! Currently the social media buttons are messing with my page layout as in they appear above the global article footer and the artist credits. I think it's much better from a design standpoint to move them towards where the comments box is.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
Currently the layout flow is as follows:
Content
Social Media (buttons)
Content
Credits
Metadata
Social Media (comments)
This does not seem logical to me. I can't seem to find a way to move them down so they don't interrupt the main article.
What are other uses for this feature request?
Maybe if the like button is closer to the comments section it has some advantages? I'm not too educated in the associated psychology so this could be wrong.
Follow up
Alright, I'll keep it on display:none then, thank you!
The Team's Response
Thanks for your suggestion! However, the social media buttons serve a different purpose than the comments: while the social media is there for promotion of your social accounts and Patreon or Ko-Fi, comments are there for social interaction. Therefore, we've decided to decline this.
