What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I love the chronicle feature that is available to worldbuilders since it makes timelines easier to follow on a map. Now to make it even more easier would be to have lines on the map just like the lines you can use when editing maps. This would make tracking easier in games where they solely rely on chronicles.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
I would think it would allow for more customizable maps in chronicles where one would track a persons movement.
Eg. I have an event on my chronicle map that dictates that a character is moving from city x to city y. Instead of having just one marker on city x, there would be a whole line between the two cities.
What are other uses for this feature request?
Seeing that it already exists on the map editor, I would assume similar places would benefit of this implementation.

Thanks for the suggestion! We plan to have a better integration between maps and chronicles in a future update, so this will be part of that.
