What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I really like the new timelines, however, in the old timeline setup, Historical Events displayed BBcoded links to Categories as hyperlinks. Now in the timeline view, categories appear as a string of code text (although the Historical Event page itself still displays the text as a hyperlink). As a result of this, I now have quite a lot of Historical Events that previously linked to categories but now simply display a long string of code.How does this feature request address the current situation?
If the new standard timeline allowed BBcode for categories to properly format on the timeline display, then people would be able to link to categories from the timelines. This would be a really useful feature for me, and I hope for other people if it were implimented. Thank you for your consideration of my request.See below for how the category link text currently displays on a timeline.
