Like Buzzard said, this can already be done by using CSS and the CSS help channel on the discord is really amazing for situations like this. Hopefully this will help you solve your problem :)

This want doesn't require a feature request. You can already implement this "feature" via CSS. Add this CSS to your World CSS and Authoring Panel CSS to remove the dark circle background from custom html icons:   .user-css.htmlIcon {
background-color: transparent;
}
  Visit the #css-help channel in the WA Discord if you'd like help making additional changes.
