Make lable map markers more adjustable

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Label markers can only be added horizontaly. In some cases this leads to difficult readability.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
It would allow for label markers to be rotated, adjusted in siez, and maybe even curved, to fit better into the map and make it overall feel nicer.
