autolinker -editing interface ui/ux

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

Currently whenever you add a new article you have to manually go through your whole world to use Auto-Linker to add links to it one article at at time. This is time consuming and not very efficient, particularly for large worlds.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

The feature would allow you to either comb through your whole world to add links to everything at once (mostly likely inefficient and a big resource hog), or make it so that you can apply Auto-linker to a selected list of articles with an upper limit to the number of articles that can be selected.

What are other uses for this feature request?

None that I can think of, perhaps if this feature also included some more advanced find/replace functionality it could be more useful for making world-encompassing changes that hitherto have been extremely tedious to make.

The Team's Response

Thanks for the suggestion! A world-wide autolinker can't be implemented for technical reasons.

This would be nice to have (3rd party or otherwise).

I feel like this is something that a 3rd party developer should make with the API for their specific uses...
