There is currently no statblock option for backgrounds in the D&D 5e statblock templates. I think that this is a functionality that should be added to world anvil, beacuse custom backgrounds are one of the most world-related things a DM can write in terms of character creation. A background related to a certain key orginization, or character, could be a fantastic opportunity for players to get invested in worldbuilding. Backgrounds also have mechanical aspects, which is why I beleive they should be in the statblock category, but this can be applied to other games systems as well that have backgrounds as a character creation option. I don't know what other games might or might not need this feature, but I know it would be helpful for worldbuilders using D&D as a game system.

Hi! The statblock template for D&D 5e background already exists. Assuming you have D&D 5e properly selected as a system in your world settings, searching for "Background" when creating a new statblock should bring it up.
