What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

Currently working on an API-based tool that allows me and my co-authors to monitor our collective progress. Simply put, it is a dashboard where we track our world and the work of others, writing, publishing, content, state...

Currently, with a single POST/articles request, i can get data per article such as wip/done, draft/publish, article title, tags...

But if i want other data, i need to make a GET/article request for each article. This is ressource consuming and not really time efficient for the user.

It would be amazing if the following fields were added to the gatherable data with a single POST/world/articles request :

• Author
• Word count
• Excerpt

How does this feature request address the current situation?

With such additions, an efficient dashboard could be refreshed quickly and without making one request per article.
