Getting started as a gamemaster

11 0 0

The system is made to be customisable.

As the gamemaster you are in charge of how your game works. And if you want more powerfull games, or less so, that is up to you.

Optional rules and mechanics that you implement can affect realism, grittyness, difficulty, mood, vibe, and such things. The way this is meant to be done, is you can either grab pre-made rulesets from pre-existing settings, or just use the settings as is. Alternatively you can grab parts of rulesets and settings and make a frankeinstein game, although keep in mind it may be somewhat janky, or misfitting depending on what aspects you use, and may need extra additions or tweaks to make it work. The final way, is just using your own rules and mechanics you make, although this doesn't use the system as much, you can look to other settings for inspiration, or be a source of other people getting inspiration, rulesets, or settings to take from, Granted you as the creator allow for it, which is highly encouraged.

This book contains 1 example world with (X) starter campaigns. These can be used in the way this chapter described, taking rules, inspiration, or setting pieces for use in your own game. Outside of this book there will be more books to be released, that expand by adding more settings with example rulesets.
